Nina Blackmon is a counselor, pastor, entrepreneur, and visionary leader with a lifelong passion for helping people thrive. She holds a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling as well as a Master of Ministry in Church and Business Growth & Revitalization, and was consecrated as Pastor under Bishop Aaron Lackey, continuing more than three decades of active ministry and community impact.

A Master Hair Stylist since 1990, Nina combined her entrepreneurial skills with her passion for service, successfully owning and operating a hair salon for 18 years. In 2001, she founded SEW – Servants Evangelizin’ the World, leading mission teams across the United States and multiple African nations. Today, she serves as CEO of Str8up4Life (formerly Str8Up Ministries), a movement committed to empowering lives through faith, education, and advocacy.

Nina is also a licensed life insurance agent and sought-after orator, known for her engaging public speaking and ability to connect with people from all walks of life. Whether through counseling, ministry, business, or outreach, she remains dedicated to uplifting others, creating opportunities for growth, and inspiring transformation.
